This cutting edge app uses state of the art technology to enhance the visitor’s experience of Jupiter Artland. Features include:

•An artwork page on each sculpture including descriptive text and artist statements as well as images of the sculptures from different angles, in different seasons, at different times of the day and even being installed.
•Audio content on each artwork, which can be listened to whilst touring the Artland. Audio clips include words from the artists, collectors, a narrator and even the Jupiter Artland gardeners.
•High quality films on each artist including the artists talking about the genesis of their work and their relationship with Jupiter Artland as well as shorts of the installation process.
•Fun and quirky additional film clips including aerial view and dog’s eye view – view the sculptures from an entirely different perspective.
•An interactive map viewed in satellite or illustrated mode helps you locate yourself around the Artland in relation to the artworks.
•Through the map you can access information including text, images and video on all the artwork as you walk around enabling you to pick and choose what you want more information on and in what medium.
•An ever-changing list of artworks can be ordered by proximity, artist or artwork updating automatically as you reach each sculpture.

This will take you to images and videos of its occurance. The Jupiter Artland app has been developed through collaboration between the Jupiter Artland Foundation and Edinburgh Napier University Centre for Interactive Design. Jupiter Artland Foundation is a registered charity, which provides free educational visits to schools, universities and other formal educational organisations. The Foundation’s mission is to get every school child in Scotland to visit or experience Jupiter Artland for free.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
